Introducing Juvéderm Volbella

News & Press

We’re pleased to now offer Juvéderm Volbella as one of the products in our line of non-surgical enhancement services.

Volbella has been generating a fair amount of buzz lately as one of the latest innovations in injectable dermal filler and non-surgical lip augmentation remedies. The filler is recommended for its soft, smooth consistency that mimics the natural feeling of your lips. Patients are utilizing Volbella to accentuate their lips and the border around the lips by subtly plumping both to achieve a naturally fuller look.

The Volbella treatment lasts for up to one year, which makes it one of the longest-working/lasting enhancement products in the marketplace currently. The Volbella treatment also comes with Lidocaine, which makes the injection much more comfortable for you, the patient.

Benefits of Volbella:

  • Helps smooth the fine, vertical lines, appearing around the lips (also known as “smoker’s lines).
  • Aides in treating oral commissures, or where the corners of the mouth turn downward.
  • Defines the natural lip contour by accentuating the vermillion border, or outline of the lips.
  • Helps treat marionette lines appearing from the corners of the mouth, down to the chin.
  • Enhances “cupid’s bow,” which is the dip in the middle of the upper lip.

Common Questions:

  • Does it hurt? There is virtually no swelling or bruising upon receiving your Volbella injection. So, normal daily activities can be resumed immediately after the treatment. You may experience some soreness and/or swelling and redness, but these symptoms are not typically known to last more than 24 hours. The Lidocaine, which is included in the injection, helps to numb the lips short-term during the treatment so that any discomfort one may have is minimized.
  • How long does the treatment take? The treatment takes about 15 minutes and results are immediate.
  • What Makes Volbella Unique? Volbella uses Vycross technology, improving the hyaluronic acid cross-linking of the gel to be injected. What makes this unique is the notion that this technological improvement results in less water absorption, and therefore less swelling than previous dermal fillers. The effects of this new process leave you with more natural and longer-lasting results.
