Our Process
Interested in dermatology care with our team? It all starts with a skin check consultation. At your consultation, we’ll carefully examine your skin all across your body to look for any concerning blemishes or warning signs for serious skin conditions. Unexplained rashes, moles, blemishes, or pain can all be early indicators for underlying internal health conditions, skin cancer and more.
If we do find anything during your consultation that requires further treatment, we’ll discuss treatment options with you. In many cases, simply removing moles or skin lesions through a quick surgical procedure will be enough to treat your concern. However, if you have signs of skin cancer, you may need additional and more complex treatment options. Almost every procedure necessary to treat your individual skin concerns can be done, while you’re awake and comfortable, in one of our NH and MA offices.
Interested in aesthetics? We’ve got you covered there, too. For most of our services, you’ll meet with us initially for a consultation. At this meeting, we’ll make sure you’re an ideal candidate for treatment and design a plan custom to your specific needs.
No matter what the issue, or your age, our dermatology clinic is here to help maintain your skin. After your initial visit, we’ll set up a routine schedule for screenings to manage your skin’s health and provide early detection for future risks.
Dermatology Services With Us
Our dermatologists specialize in both preventive care as well as management for both new (acute) and long lasting (chronic) conditions. We can help with almost any skin condition, such as psoriasis, acne, eczema, and more. Our care includes management techniques and medications to help control your symptoms and reduce flare-ups.
If we can, we’ll also get rid of conditions for good—including skin cancer. We use an advanced array of cancer removal techniques to provide personalized treatment for you and your individual needs.
When necessary, we’ll perform Mohs micrographic surgery to remove your cancerous cells, layer by layer. By selectively only removing affected tissue and thoroughly checking for signs of cancer, we can completely remove the disease from most patients, leading to smaller wounds and therefore smaller less noticeable scars. Mohs surgery has an incredible success rate when performed by our skilled dermatologists, and most patients experience a complete recovery from the disease. Furthermore, after Mohs surgery, your new wound will be reconstructed (stitched) by our skilled and fellowship-trained, board-certified surgeons, to help hide any evidence of treatment.
Don’t Neglect Your Skin’s Look
Caring for your skin’s health is one thing, but we also know that the way your skin looks can be just as important. That’s why we offer a variety of aesthetic services to help you maintain a youthful appearance.
Many of our aesthetic treatments are injectables that can treat many aesthetic concerns. With wrinkle relaxers like Botox® and Dysport®, our providers can temporarily keep your facial muscles from creasing your skin and causing wrinkles. You’ll enjoy a renewed look and fewer wrinkles after just 1 session with Botox® or Dysport®!
For further restoration, you may be interested in fillers and Sculptra® as well. With filler, we’ll restore facial volume lost to aging over time. Fillers and Sculptra® can be used on your chin, cheeks, jaw, nose, under-eye areas, and more, to add structure, definition, and to provide a more youthful and natural appearance.
At Dermatology & Skin Health, our selection of advanced lasers can be used across your body for a variety of restorative benefits. We use our Fraxel® dual laser for skin resurfacing on the face, chest, neck, hands and more. If you struggle with poor skin texture, pigmentation issues, acne scarring, or other skin concerns, our noninvasive laser is the perfect way to erase this damage. We also carry the Vbeam® Perfecta laser to break down broken capillaries, unwanted redness or spider veins beneath your skin’s surface.
Our dermatology clinic uses these aesthetic treatments to supplement our dermatology services. For the most transformative skin care, visit Dermatology & Skin Health to see what all we can do under one roof.
