Fraxel® Laser

The Fraxel® Dual laser treatment is an advanced skin rejuvenation procedure that uses two different fractional laser technologies to treat a range of skin conditions. This system combines two laser wavelengths—one that targets surface-level concerns (such as pigmentation), while the other penetrates deeper layers (wrinkles/scars). The laser creates microscopic columns of thermal damage in the skin, targeting specific problem areas while leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This leads to less downtime.

Fraxel® Dual laser treatments are performed in-office using a topical anesthetic approximately 30 minutes prior to treatment. Fraxel® uses light energy to stimulate your skin’s natural collagen, rejuvenating skin cells below the surface to help erase pigmentation, as well as to smooth out the creases and pockets that cause wrinkles and scars. This treatment only treats targeted problem areas, so the results are focused and effective.

After getting treatment with the Fraxel® Dual laser, you’ll have a quick recovery period with minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or a sensation similar to a light sunburn for 1 to 3 days post-treatment. Some patients notice a “coffee grounds” texture, flaking or peeling as the skin naturally renews itself, which typically resolves within a week. Most patients can return to normal activities within 24 to 72 hours after the procedure.

Results begin to appear within a few days. As your skin’s texture and tone improve, and collagen production ramps up over the next 3 to 6 months, you’ll notice continued enhancements.

These results can last even longer when paired with proper skincare and sun protection. To maintain your refreshed appearance, we may recommend occasional maintenance sessions with our Fraxel® laser.
