Hannaford Chooses Make Big Change as Recipient of the "Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program"

Request a Visit

We are excited to announce that the nonprofit we founded in 2014, Make Big Change, an organization dedicated to promoting the awareness and strategic prevention of skin cancer, has been selected as the recipient of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for the month of April.

This exciting fundraising program has been designed to support local nonprofits doing impactful, productive work in the community. Throughout the month of April, every blue Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag with the good karma messaging purchased at the Hannaford supermarket located at 30 Grapevine Drive in Dover, will see $1 donated to Make Big Change in an effort to help facilitate the non-profit organization’s mission of fostering progressive steps towards reducing the incidence of skin cancers here on the eastern seaboard of New Hampshire, as well as abroad through education, activism, and strategic prevention initiatives.

So, please, if you can, make your way over to the Dover Hannaford (which is on 108 as you head towards Durham), and buy one of these bags. What’s more is, any monies stuffed in the “book trade” station of the grocery store will also be donated to us. Good karma all around!

We’re ecstatic that Hannaford has selected us as their latest recipient of this fantastic reusable bag fundraising effort. It’s a wonderful program, and the fact that Hannaford chooses to give back to community driven organizations like Make Big Change is a testament to their dedication of bolstering strong communal bonds.
