Molly Plovanich, MD is a dermatologist specializing in medical dermatology. She is double board-certified in dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Plovanich attended Harvard Medical School where she was a student in the Health Sciences & Technology program and received her medical degree magna cum laude.
After this, she was a resident in the Harvard Combined Medicine and Dermatology Training Program where she was trained in both dermatology and internal medicine. Prior to joining Dermatology & Skin Health, she was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at University of Rochester Medical Center in upstate NY where she led the inpatient consult service, conducted research, and trained residents.
Dr. Plovanich is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide thorough and compassionate dermatologic care to patients at Dermatology & Skin Health. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and soaking up the beauty of the seacoast.
Neera Nathan, MD, MSHS is a Harvard-trained, board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. She completed the prestigious seven-year combined BA/MD program at the George Washington University where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, an honor reserved for only the top students in her class. While completing her residency in dermatology at Harvard Medical School, she had the privilege of learning from international leaders in skin cancer and laser medicine. She has authored more than 25 peer-reviewed publications, reviews, and book chapters to date and has presented her work at both national and international forums.
She has received scholarships or scientific grants from the National Institutes of Health, the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, Advancing Innovation in Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
She has also been featured in the media for her expertise, including the New York Times, HuffPost, Forbes.com, ABC News, and the Harvard Health Blog. She loves cooking, traveling, going on walks and spending time with family and friends.
Todd Wechter, MD, is a dermatologist specializing in adult and pediatric dermatology. Dr. Wechter earned his undergraduate degree from Union College, graduating with the honors of summa cum laude and phi beta kappa. He then received his medical education at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine, where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Following medical school, he completed his medical internship at Northwell Health and a dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
Dr. Wechter also completed a research fellowship at New York University Medical Center, focusing on the study of melanoma. He has contributed to the field through his authorship of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles covering a range of topics within dermatology.
Dr. Wechter enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, son, and their Corgi. He is an avid hockey fan and has played since he was 5 years old.
Daniel O’Connor, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. He completed his undergraduate at the University of Virginia where he graduated with Highest Distinction. He attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania where he was a recipient of the Charles H. Hovies Merit Scholarship and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. He went on to complete a dermatology residency and fellowship in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at Harvard Medical School, working at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Lahey Health, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Boston’s Veterans Affairs Hospitals. He has published more than two dozen peer-reviewed journal articles on topics including skin cancer surgery, cutaneous oncology, and medical education. Dr. O’Connor prides himself on providing the best possible care in a friendly environment.

Robert D. Murgia III, DO, FAAD, is a fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologic surgeon and board-certified dermatologist, who practices adult and pediatric dermatology. Dr. Murgia was born and raised on Boston’s North Shore and is thrilled to return home.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Boston University and Master of Arts in Medical Sciences at Boston University School of Medicine with honors, followed by his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a traditional rotating internship at Ohio Health O’Bleness Hospital and dermatology residency at Hackensack University Medical Center Palisades.
He then went on to complete an American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at Maryland Dermatology, Laser, Skin, and Vein under the mentorship of Robert Weiss, MD, a world-renowned leader in the field. During his fellowship, he received advanced training in the use of neuromodulators, such as Botox and Dysport, filler injections, laser and energy-based devices for skin rejuvenation, non-invasive body contouring, and varicose vein treatments.
Dr. Murgia has also authored numerous peer-reviewed journal publications and textbook chapters on a variety of topics in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. He has presented at conferences on a national and international level and has actively participated in a multitude of clinical studies. Dr. Murgia’s clinical interests include non-invasive cosmetic procedures and vein treatments, advances in lasers and energy-based devices for clinical applications, and medical and surgical dermatology, with an emphasis placed on skin cancer prevention and treatment, acne, psoriasis, and rosacea.

Stephen Moyer, DO, FAAD has been board certified in dermatology for over 15 years. His interest in dermatology was kindled during a dermatology rotation in medical school. He earned his D.O. from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1997 and completed a residency in dermatology in 2002 at the Medical University of South Carolina. Following his residency, Dr. Moyer went on to practice dermatology at Hartford Dermatology Associates (from 2002-2008 – where he was bestowed with the “Top Docs” honor), Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (from 2008 to 2013), and most recently at Elliot Dermatology prior to coming to Dermatology & Skin Health in 2017.
Dr. Moyer has an interest in adult and pediatric, as well as surgical dermatology.
Dr. Moyer sees patients in Dover and Bedford.
When away from the practice, Stephen enjoys digital photography, grilling/cooking, fly-fishing, kayaking, hiking, and woodworking.

Dr. Gary Mendese, FAAD, FACMS is a Boston-hospital trained dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. He is double board certified in Dermatology as well as Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, and primarily practices Mohs surgery to remove and reconstruct high risk skin cancers. Dr. Mendese practices in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Dr. Mendese completed his dermatology training at the combined Boston University/Tufts University Dermatology Residency Program, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a rigorous American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) approved fellowship in Mohs Surgery in 2012 under the leadership of Donald J. Grande, MD, who was a recognized leader in the field. He completed a post-sophomore fellowship in pathology during medical school from 2004-2005 and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society in his final year of medical school. Currently, along with his daily practice duties, he is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Tufts University School of Medicine. He also serves as Vice President for the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology and on the Advisory Board for Impact Melanoma (formerly Melanoma Foundation of New England).
Dr. Mendese enjoys anything outdoors and spending time with his wife and five kids.
