During your consultation, our first step will be to determine whether or not Radiesse is right for you and your aesthetic goals. By the end of your consultation, we will customize a treatment plan that fits your specific concerns. If Radiesse is right for you, during treatments, a series of injections will be given and you will notice immediate results.* The total treatment time is approximately 30 minutes. After the injections, you may experience some swelling, redness, pain or bruising. These side effects are usually mild and subside within a few days.
Because Radiesse stimulates the growth of your own collagen, even after the gel has been metabolized by your body, results can last up to a year.* However, the location of where the product is placed is very important; when Radiesse is injected into the marionettes, it will probably not last as long as if it were injected in the temples. The number of treatments needed depends on a number of factors: how much filler was used, where it was placed and how quickly your body absorbs the product. Most patients will get a follow-up treatment in 9-12 months.
