UPDATED: Please note, appointment times have been filled and no further appointments are being accepted at this time.

DOVER, NH – To mark National Melanoma/Skin Cancer Awareness and Prevention Month in May, the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Seacoast Cancer Center and Dermatology & Skin Health are offering free skin cancer screenings to those who are uninsured or underinsured in the Dover area.

Screenings will be held on Tuesday, May 7, and Tuesday, May 14, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Seacoast Cancer Center.
Each screening takes about five minutes, but it is five minutes that could save a life.

Most melanoma cases are caused by sun exposure, so everyone, even the most diligent sunscreen users, should add regular skin checks to their skincare routine. Any new or changing spots should be evaluated by a doctor. Appointments for these free skin cancer screenings are required, and time slots do fill up. Please call (603) 740-2818 to schedule your appointment.
